Doherty Organ

I was contacted about this organ through the Reed Organ association regional representative for the UK and Ireland. The owner didn't want to see it go to loss but wasn't in a position to restore it. I traveled to the northern tip of Donegal to Kinnagoe Bay to pick it up. It was very damp but has since dried out. It will need extensive case work. Some panels are veneered and some are plywood, none of which fared well in the damp environment.

Due to space constraints and priorities this organ has been scrapped.
